Please share some of our 2012 in photos
Our 2012 actually began in mid-December 2011, when we flew to Cape Town, South Africa, where we spent a week before boarding Oceania's ship Nautica for a 35-day cruise to Singapore.

Meanwhile, back in Los Altos . . .
On Valentine's Day 2012, Paul was back in the hospital - his third stay since July 2, 2011 - with an apparent kidney problem that evidently disappeared as mysteriously as it came.
The photos show the effect of the Prednisone that he was taking for his ITP low platelet blood disease,
not that he ate and drank too much on the cruise!
We spent time at the cabin we co-own on Pine Mountain Lake, near Groveland, CA

We twice visited Amy who works for the U.S. State Department in Washington, DC.
In DC, we enjoy staying at the Anderson House, home of The Society of the Cincinnati of which Paul is a member.

Medical Report: On July 9, Paul went off the Prednisone that he had been taking for the ITP low platelet blood disease, and the next series of blood tests were good.  But in mid-October his platelet count dropped, so the hematologist MD put him back on a 10 mg daily dosage of Prednisone as a preventive measure for our upcoming trip.  Now he is reducing his daily doses in the hope of getting off it again.
In late October 2012, we flew to NYC where we spent a week and from where our 25-day cruise on Oceania's ship Regatta to Manaus, Brazil (a thousand miles up the Amazon River) and back to Miami was to supposed to depart.  But because of Super Storm Sandy, we sailed from Boston instead. Amy was able to travel with us on the cruise.
